3 months old

Hurricane Ike proved to be nothing for us here in Austin. We never even got any rain so many people were disappointed. Work, however, was completely nuts! We have most of our branches open now. Galveston should be today hopefully on generator power. We are hearing we will be the second branches across all banks in Galveston to open. So far I have not heard our branches took too much damage. But the Galveston branch had tons of debris in the parking lot.. so much so it took 3 full 18 wheelers to remove it. That is a lot of trash for one parking lot!

Maya finally had her first cold and promptly gave it to Jason and I. This weekend was crappy because we were all sick. Sunday Jason and I both had fevers.. Maya did not get a fever though and we were thankful for that. It breaks your heart though when she would cry and nothing would come out because she was horse.

Jason and I are finally recovering from colds. Monday we both had to stay home from work. Jason's mom was in town this weekend so we were certain all three of us would get her sick.. but so far I think she survived. It helped a ton to have someone else who could hold her while we were feeling miserable.

Well the little girl is getting bigger. She has pasted the 3 month mark. She is starting to talk more and more each day. Most of the time she is just a happy baby. She has found her hands and thinks they are the best thing to suck on.. ALL the time... ; ) We think in the next 2 weeks she will find her feet and in the mouth they will go.
She is finally starting to push up some when laying her tummy. Every day just gets a bit more fun with her. We really love her. She makes us laugh all the time now with her talking.

We have uploaded more pictures to the image gallery. Take a peak. They are by month.
