the weekend is upon us
Well the dark side of Jason was displayed at work. They have finally seen the “you’re an idiot” and “do your job” Jason. For those of you who have never worked with him, he is a force to be reckoned with. He is extremely good at making you feel very small, even when he is not yelling. Much like many of us, he can only take so much complaining and no doing. He finally got fed up with some slackers at work. Apparently, a few individuals at his work make excuses for not doing projects that need to get done. Jason has been very frustrated with work this week but it is working itself out. He has decided to take some things on to show them how it gets done. Jason is fun to work with.
When we worked at Vitalz together, he lessened none on his girlfriend (me) during meetings than the wrath he gave to others. Boy was that fun.. But you just get pissed off, because he was always right. But Jason is a lot like me and expects a tremendous amount from people. It is hard to accept sometimes that there are those who just want to be instead of becoming.
But anyhoo.. the weekend comes. We are about to float away here in Austin. It has been raining every day conveniently at rush hour time. Last night took us 2 hours to get home. That was not fun! When it rains in Austin, the world shuts down. All the lights go out for no reason and people forget how to drive.
So guess what – it is about to rain again! What a surprise. The weeds in my yard are going nuts and there is no time to cut them. Some, I swear, are the size of small children.
Tomorrow, (Saturday), I have my second Java test. This one will be much harder than the first, so we will see. I am meeting a friend for lunch afterwards. I have not seen in about a year. That will be nice.
So the rest of the weekend is homework and whatever finds the time to fit itself in.
